My name is Samantha Jedrzejczak, I began researching ferrets in 2007 after meeting a ferret for the second time at the Gawler Shown in South Australia. I became apart of the South Australian Ferret Association (SAFA) and adopted my first ferret in November 2008. I have since cared for, owned and rescued over 500 ferrets.
Unfortunately the SAFA fell in 2012 ***If you hear or are told this Club is up and running this is false information. There is an ex member of the SAFA whom is scamming club membership money out of unsuspecting victims, if you have fallen victim to this please contact the Police immediately***
I successfully and responsibly began breeding ferrets in 2010, I had to retire my linage when I tragically lost 17 of my ferrets in 2016 due to lead poisoning (food consumption). My breeding program was built around quality NOT quantity and I had a minimum of 6-18 years linage history on all breeding stock. I strived to provide nothing but the absolute best for your new furry family member. I have begun a new Breeding Program in 2017 with new lines and will continue this line until I retire.
In 2015 I carried on my 4th generational bloodlines with fantastic results. These bloodlines extend from Coventry linage (Previous SAFA President) and have up to 18 year history attached to them. I have always been highly focused on providing high quality ferrets to only the best of homes around Australia. I do everything in my power to meet your expectations as a client and new ferrant and my expectations as a responsible and reputable breeder.
YES I do freight interstate and currently already have many of my kits in SA, NSW, VIC and WA and will happily freight them interstate for the right homes every breeding season. If you are in NT or QLD please do NOT request freighting interstate from anyone as it is illegal to own ferrets in those 2 states. Unfortunately I could not freight my ferrets/kits internationally, I get asked this on a daily basis and apologize but it was not possible.
Breeding of ferrets (or any animal) is about improving the species as a whole while maintaining breed standard and temperament but most of all keeping your line and the species free of genetically linked defects. I was about creating the healthiest ferrets with the best temperament for you to love and adore for many years as a family member.
I am currently am a mummy to 25 beautiful ferrets; Starr, Skittles, Bubbles, Badger, BonBon, Bear, DeeDee, Delta, Abel, Ace, Ava, Luca, Lewie, Zero, Jett, Jedd & Jive.
