Adopting from SJ Ferrets is a process that requires patience, enthusiasm, a great deal of research as well as being fully prepared months prior to adoption day. Please note that applying for my Waiting List does not automatically guarantee you kits from me. I assess each and every application as they come through and either email, text or call you to discuss possibly adoption and determine if you are going to provide my grandbabies with the best home possible.
It is a requirement to have met me for a one on one introduction session (anywhere from 1-3 hours) as well as ensuring you are a part of my Private Facebook page where I can provide advice, support, guidance and more. It is also a requirement to attend Sunday Funday Events while the kits grow up so you can interact with them while they grow. I will also need to view photos of your cage, playpen, toys, bowls, litter trays and more.
Please note that kits are allocated to their respectful owners at approximately 5 weeks of age, at this point I will require a $150 NON refundable deposit. If you change your mind and do not go ahead with adoption please note that the $150 (per kit) will not be refunded.* If you fail to make the $150 non-refundable deposit (per kit) by 5 weeks of age then the kits will be allocated elsewhere and you may miss out. Once adoption has occurred I require that all clients keep in contact with me on a regular basis through my Facebook Page to ensure they are healthy and if you need any help I will always be there to give it you immediately.

**Please note, I only allow adoption in pairs. If you are a first time ferret owner and do not already have ferrets then you will be adopting a pair. If you already own ferrets and would like to adopt solo to add to your ferrety collection then this is allowed**
**Occasionally my Adoption Packs will slightly change without notice as I won't be able to have access to one thing or another, if this is the case I will compensate it for something of similar value**

DO I FREIGHT INTERSTATE AND OR INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, I do freight interstate, I have my grand babies in SA, WA, NSW & VIC already, if you would like to adopt a ferret and have it flown interstate I can organised all of this through Jet Pets at your cost. The most expensive freight has only been is $220. If I have more than 1 client interstate wanting to freight I can do this together and you can split the freight cost. Each freight will be quoted and advised of the total price.
