FERRET BOARDING
Here at SJ Ferrets I happily board your ferrets while you enjoy a nice relaxing holiday. My prices have been collated by contacting numerous Veterinary Practices and Boarding Kennels for their prices on boarding a cat and a dog on a daily basis. My prices are much cheaper than a Vet/Boarding Kennel and I provide a lot more than they do as well. Not only am I an expert on diet and caring for ferrets, they will receive the following whilst boarded with me:
If you book long term Boarding for 30 nights or more you will automatically receive 10% discount on your PayPal Invoice. If you have previously boarded your ferrets with me you will automatically receive a 5% discount on your PayPal Invoice for any booking over 7 nights. If you have more than 4 ferrets or would like to board longer than 2 weeks please contact me via the application form and I will discuss prices further with you.

$13 per night
$91 per week
$180 a fortnight ($2 discount)
2 ferrets boarded:
$25 per night
$175 per week
$340 a fortnight ($24 discount)
3 ferrets boarded:
$36 per night
$252 per week
$500 a fortnight ($46 discount)
Please note if you come home early and would like to collect your ferrets, you are more than welcome to do this, a refund of monies will not be issued.
Once you have filled out your application form, I will respond to you via phone or email in 24 hours. Please ensure the email address and or phone number you have provided is one you check regularly and or is current. If I have not heard back from you within 7 days of your application then please consider your application VOID as I will not be chasing up clients.
Please note that if I believe your ferret requires Veterinary Assistance whilst in my care this will occur immediately and all Veterinary Fee's incurred will need to be paid in full prior to collection of your ferrets at the end of the boarding period. This also applies if I need to see a doctor or go to hospital and there are any medical costs encountered caused by your ferret that has left me injured.
Payment in full is required to be paid in cash upon drop off, via PayPal/via bank transfer is fine as long as it is paid a minimum of 5 business prior to commencement of boarding so I have received the funds prior to boarding commencing.
- Fresh water daily
- Fresh balanced raw diet daily (up to 150 grams per jill/sprite & up to 250 grams per hob/gib)
- 2 hours minimum time out in the 2.4m x 1.2m playpen filled with tunnels, toys, bedding, ball pit, big bowl of water to play in, rice dig box and more
- Housed in clean secure Ferret Kingdom cages. Please note, if your ferret is mostly a free range (in your house) ferret then I would be happy to house them in the playpen for more room as it is very secure whilst being unsupervised.
- Cage maintained daily
- Fresh clean Pink Woozel Ferret Bedding
- Fresh clean biodegradable and ordourless litter
- Lots of cuddles and attention
- Bathed
- Nails clipped
- Ears cleaned
