In the 6 years that I have been rescuing ferrets I have officially saved, cared for and rehabilitated 400 ferrets. In all of that time I have only ever asked for help twice; once from the public and once privately between a group of friends.
My Vet bills in the rescuing side of ferrets has now exceeded $30,000 and I finally built the courage (with A LOT of encouragement from friends) to publically ask for help. I did it! I couldn't believe it, I asked for help and you wouldn't BELIEVE the response.
My Winter Auction Appeal was stressful and frustrating and meant weeks of sleepless nights BUT it was everything I had hoped it would be and it exceeded my expectations by a mile. I cannot thank the 20 beautiful businesses whom jumped on board enough, their donations combined with many other donations meant my Auction raised over $3,300.00 AUD. I couldn't believe it. My mind was blown. People really did care, I asked for help and I got it! Thank you thank you thank you to every single person who supported, loved, cared and cheered me on while my Auction was running.
